#3 ranked Red Storm mens soccer team eliminated Boston University in a 1-0 victory at home, to advance to Round three of the NCAA championship.

Time for some round up and linkage dumps:

SOFTBALL: The Red Storm softball team kicked off their fall season on September 20 at home and split the series. They defeated Manhattan 5-0 and lost to Fordham 9-0. Sophomore pitcher Kat Lawrence shined in the opening game while fellow sophomore Linzee Sumrall struggled, allowing all 9 earned runs to Fordham.

MEN’S SOCCER: The men’s soccer team finished off a double overtime game versus Marquette, 1-0. Freshman Bjorn de Hoop was the hero of the game while goal keeper Neal Kitson set the school record for longest scoreless streak. (more…)
