Turkey Day at my house

My family has all gathered here in New York for a nice sit down to eat more food than we’re physically supposed to, and be very happy about it.  More to come later, after the tryptophan starts to kick in.  In the mean time, here’s something to think about…

Aside from the more obvious scientific developments, like cars, planes, and computers, one (debatable) thing to give thanks for is the fact that your turkey weighs more than twice as much than it did in 1930.  This comes from Wired, about the various upgrades the Thanksgiving table has had in the last 70 or so years.
