Inside Gate 6: What is teamwork?

senior-night-2 The St. John’s volleyball team earned its third-consecutive BIG EAST regular season championship with a marathon 3-2 victory (25-17, 18-25, 16-25, 25-19, 16-4) over Notre Dame Friday night at ND’s Joyce Center.
There were over two thousand people cheering for Notre Dame, and all the people were wearing same white T-shirt. During the game, they even threw hog dogs, T-shirt and small volleyballs to audiences. However, St. John’s volleyball girls have overcome all the distraction, and really stuck together. After their big win, their coach met them in the lock room, and told the girls that they are perennial weed, because if they are beaten by someone, they will be bake even much stronger.
St. John’s volleyball team is not just fighting with their opponents (Big East teams), but also there are so many things going on through certain internet and broadcast. They are complaining about St. John’s volleyball team’s diversity because they have international players. They said they are internationals, not America, and some bad things. As a result, they have to fight so hard to guard and keep their status high, and they did.
The Red Storm will travel to Chicago on Sunday, Nov. 16, to take on the DePaul Blue Demons in the regular season finale.
Good luck, girls!
