Heroes made a smashing debut in its first season on NBC back in 2006. But something happened in its second season. The characters were, for the most part, nowhere near as interesting. And there wasn’t anything as big as “Save the Cheerleader, Save the World.” With so much displeasure over the season, creator Tim Kring publically apologized for the season, promising to boost the quality. It worked, as the end of the season (cut short due to the 2007-2008 Writer’s Guild of America strike) was a vast improvement.
And now to the point! Heroes debuts its Season 3 on Monday, September 22 and is looking much better than before. The stakes appear to be raised and the attitude has grown much darker. Here’s a preview of the show:
